Holding Deposit: 1 Weeks Rent

When there is more than one applicant, a lead tenant must be nominated to pay the holding deposit on behalf of the group. Once the holding deposit is paid, the property will be reserved and the full registration, Right to Rent checks, referencing and tenancy agreement signing must all be completed within 15 days.

The holding deposit is equal to 1 weeks rent. It shows commitment from both sides but does not create a tenancy at this stage and all contracts remain subject to satisfactory referencing.

If an applicant or group chooses not to proceed after paying the holding deposit, they may forfeit part or all of it in line with our Refund Terms.
